These crispy spring rolls are a delightful combination of flavorful filling and a crunchy exterior, perfect for any occasion.

- 15 pieces Rice paper sheets
- 500 g ground meat (beef, chicken, or vegan)
- 2 carrots (grated)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced thin)
- 3 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1 egg
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Start by browning the ground meat in a pan with some oil until cooked through.
- Add 4 tbsp of soy sauce and let it simmer briefly.
- While the meat is cooking, grate the carrots, slice the bell pepper, and chop the green onions.
- Combine the cooked meat with the vegetables, egg, remaining soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame seeds, and seasoning.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water and soak a rice paper sheet for about 10 seconds until pliable.
- Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling on the lower third of the rice paper, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
- Arrange the filled spring rolls in the air fryer basket without touching and cook at 200°C for about 10-16 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Garnish with toasted sesame and green onion slices, and serve with sweet and sour sauce.
Notes
For a healthier version, use the air fryer instead of traditional frying.
